Several years ago, Cornerstone Solutions PL began working with Farm Mapping Services to look at ways in which farm maps and other spatial data could be presented using the emerging technologies of Google Maps® and Google Earth®. This was done with great success.
In late 2008 we began discussions with Circular Head Spreading Service in the North West of Tasmania, who could see the advantages in error-free ordering and the need for accurate paddock history following application of fertiliser. 2009 saw the development of a complete mobile, web, desktop and server suite to cover the needs of a large spreading contractor.
After a successful 6-month trial, Paddocklink P/L gained the rights to sell the software and develop it for the wider market.

Redefine the way you work
PaddockLink is about reliable and accurate paddock management, by establishing a website and associated connections that is accessible to farmers and managed by you. The system enables:
- error-free on‐line ordering of fertilizer or spray by property owners for each paddock on their farmdirect
- recording of the application using data from the spreader or sprayers GPS guidance system
- maintenance of individual paddock histories
The system relies on the advantage of both farmer and supplier viewing a farm map. Farm maps and other spatial data are presented on the website using Google Maps® and Google Earth® technologies via a free webpage. An accurate farm map is crucial for maximum reliability and to take advantage of all of the system’s benefits.
